Owned and very much loved by Alan, Tuba and Doruk Baird, Istanbul, Turkey

Harmi was always Special
It almost broke my heart when I said good-bye to her on her boarding on a plane to Istanbul
 
| But Harmi was a very lucky little girl: she got the best family for herself in the whole world. She loved to take her people swimming in the Black Sea, and show them what clever little Newfoundland girls are bred for: guarding those people that matter most. Sometimes, so I was told, you could catch her looking off into the distance, far away. Maybe she remembered her birth family in Finland. |
 
Tragically, we lost this lovely dog all too soon, although I do not think that we can ever forget her. As her family said, even 100 years would not be enough with such a perfectly beautiful and intelligent being like Harmi.
Thank you Alan, Tuba and Doruk for making Harmi's short life so full of love and happiness. For a dog with her nature, that was what mattered most. |
