  TERHOTARHA Goes To Shows
   

All Terhotarha Newfoundlands are pet dogs, but some of them have also got interested in spending occasional weekends in dog shows. On these pages I have gathered photos from such events. If you would like to see the latest show results, have a look on the news.

Oskari (Ch Terhotarhan Timotei) was BOB and 4th of all the breeds in FCI Group 2 in Askersund International Dog Show, Sweden, 2002. The judge Mrs Liz Beth Liljeqvist Karlsson wrote: "Large masculine male, very masculine throughout. With his powerful movement, strong top line, lovely head and his excellent bone strength he pictures a functional, very typical Newfoundland of the very highest class".photo: Kirsi Kultavuori.

Tupla (Ch Terhotarhan Trombi) was the best Finnish-bred Newfoundland dog in the Newfoundland Club Annual Speciality Show 2001 in Finland, judged by Mrs Birgitte Gothen, Denmark. He got his photo on a local newspaper!

A perfect show posture! This old lady does not belong to our kennel but is a wild (but very friendly!) warthog from Queen Elisabeth National Park, Uganda. I just *wish* that our dogs would even for once pose as well in dog shows as this pig did with me in the bush...
