Terho was the wildest puppy ever seen...And still at old ages, she often enjoyed chasing cats or sheep, and occasional playing with her
daughters.
Terho 4 months old. Little dog, serious thoughts.
Terho's number one passion was food...
...Although a dive into sea on a hot day is not bad
either

Terho BOB and Group 1 in Avesta, Sweden 1998

Terho was such a character, everyone who knew her agrees! :) She was so precious to me.

This cute litle 9-weeks old bear cub flew to me from Denmark, and we have been on the move ever since... Terho lived with me in Turku, Finland, Utsjoki in Lappland, Uppsala in Sweden, Cambridge in England and finally we were hiking in the Yorkshire moors in Sheffield. She travelled 15 times across Europe by trains, busses, ferries and sometimes by a car too. It takes some nerves, and she had plenty!

Terho in the Veteran competitions at the age 11.

Terho with her family in summer 2005. She is in the pedigree of all Terhotarha Newfoundlands - you can see photos of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren here

Terho with granddaughter Harmi (Terhotarhan Harmaa Haikara) in 2004

Terho at the age on 10 and 11, going strong! Terho lived up to nearly 13,5 years and finally died of a sudden internal bleeding probably caused by erupted spleen. Until her very last days, she still enjoyed long walks in the hills (at her own pace of course!), good food (or any food!), and getting lots of love and attention.
Not ever 100 years together would have been enough in this case, but I am so lucky for sharing my life so long with this bear.
Oh man I miss you Terho!
